How to Use CND Perfect Color Pure White Opaque Acrylic Powder

Step 1: Prepare the Natural Nails

Sanitize the hands and nails before beginning. Gently push back the cuticles and remove non-living tissue from the nail plate.

Prepare the natural nail surface according to professional nail preparation techniques. Remove excess oils, dust, and debris to create a clean surface for acrylic application.

Step 2: Apply Nail Primer or Bonder

Apply a compatible CND nail preparation or bonding product if required by your selected acrylic system.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper application and adhesion.

Step 3: Prepare the Acrylic Mixture

Pour a small amount of compatible CND sculpting liquid, such as CND RETENTION+ or RADICAL SOLARNAIL Sculpting Liquid, into a clean dappen dish.

Dip a professional acrylic brush into the monomer liquid, remove excess liquid, and gently touch the brush to the Pure White Opaque Sculpting Powder to create a workable acrylic bead.

Recommended Mixing Ratio: Approximately 1.5 parts sculpting liquid to 1 part acrylic powder, subject to the instructions for the compatible CND system.

Step 4: Apply & Sculpt the Acrylic

For classic French manicures, place a bead of Pure White Opaque acrylic powder at the free edge of the nail and carefully sculpt the desired white tip and smile line.

For full-white acrylic nails, distribute the acrylic mixture evenly over the prepared nail or extension, building the appropriate length, structure, and apex.

Use your acrylic brush to smooth and refine the product while maintaining the desired nail shape.

Step 5: Allow the Acrylic to Harden

Allow the acrylic to fully polymerize according to the manufacturer's recommended setting time for your selected CND liquid-and-powder system.

Step 6: File, Buff & Finish

Once fully hardened, refine the nail shape using a professional nail file. Smooth the surface with a buffer and remove any remaining dust.

Apply a compatible glossy top coat for a brilliant, polished white finish or a matte top coat for a modern, soft-white appearance.
